The Sutton Bridge Power Fund

What is the Power Fund?

Sutton Bridge Power set up a charitable company in 1999- the Sutton Bridge Power Fund- to provide support for local organisations and community projects in the area close to the power station. Each year there is £15,000 available from the Capital Fund.

Who is eligible for a grant?

Organisations and groups within a defined area from the power station are eligible to apply for a grant. This includes Sutton Bridge, Tydd St Mary’s, Tydd St Giles, Walpole Cross Keys and the Walpoles. If your organisations is not within the area but you can show that your project benefits the people of the area through membership, attendance etc. you may be able to get a percentage of the grant applied for.

The maximum grant is £2,000. The power fund will not provide grants for individuals, for religious organisations or as a substitute for state funding. Organisations do not have to be registered charities.
