Update on the new Sports Pavilion

Dear residence of Sutton Bridge

I am writing to update you on the progress of our plans to develop a new sports pavilion and multi use games area (MUGA) in our community, these facilities aim to enhance recreational opportunities, promotes community well-being and create a vibrant hub for residence of all ages PROJECT OVERVIEW SPORTS PAVILION.  The new pavilion will include modern changing rooms showers and a flexible indoor activity space for all ages

MUGA.   The multi use games area will provide a versatile outdoor space for football, basketball, netball, and other sports., catering to all age groups

I am writing residence of Sutton Bridge

I am writing to update you on the progress of our plans to develop a new sports pavilion and multi use games area (MUGA) in our community, these facilities aim to enhance recreational opportunities, promotes community well-being and create a vibrant hub for residence of all ages PROJECT OVERVIEW SPORTS PAVILION.  The new pavilion will include modern changing rooms showers and a flexible indoor activity space for all ages

CURRENT STATUS

At the end of last year we submitted an expression of interest application through the community ownership fund. This proposal was well received and we were advised to move forward with a formal application. However during this process the government changed and the Community Ownership Fund was unexpectedly closed before we could submit our full application. This was a disappointing step back. We are undeterred in our efforts to bring these vital facilities to Sutton Bridge.

NEXT STEPS       We are actively seeking alternative funding sources to make this project a reality this includes approaching other national and local funding bodies engaging with businesses and exploring possibilities for Community Fund raising
