Election on 4th May 2023

This is addressed to the all the people who live in Sutton Bridge. 

Someone has informed the police that the new fledging “Sutton Bridge Deserves Better” party, which has nothing but good intentions to change things for the better in the Bridge,  has not shown either the Promoters or Printers names and addresses on their posters or leaflets. This is deemed to be less than “Transparent” of them, as if “hiding” the name of the London printers and not saying the material is about the Party itself will somehow mislead you? 

Obviously it is not known who provided the police with the information that the required words were not on the posters or the leaflets. 

The Police are correctly unwilling to provide the information as to who informed them but some educated guesses have been made. 

The police say that they do not have the personnel to catch people who are speeding, littering or inflicting harm on our residents but do have the personnel to hinder people who are trying to help parishioners have a say in what happens in their Parish. 

Needless to say the “offending” posters have been taken down, new posters, bearing the correct words, will be printed and put up. 

The Candidates of the new party are only standing in the election to give you a choice of who you want on the parish council and what you would like the parish council to do. 

If you want change please vote for the 11 new candidates of the Sutton Bridge Deserves Better party on the 4th May.
